Objectives: To teach English in a systematic approach to the Intermediate English student who can read and write English fairly well (with basic understanding), but who has significant difficulty with listening and speaking skills.
The Focus is on conversational English, while at the same time incorporating basic grammatical structures (without necessarily "studying grammar" itself). Some common idioms, slang, and proverbs are also included.
The goals for this student are: 1) to become more fluent in listening and speaking skills, and 2) to use complete sentences, along with all verb tenses.
