Tips for working with an Intermediate student

Highlights
  • Objectives: To teach English in a systematic approach to the Intermediate English student who can read and write English fairly well (with basic understanding), but who has significant difficulty with listening and speaking skills.
  • The Focus is on conversational English, while at the same time incorporating basic grammatical structures (without necessarily "studying grammar" itself). Some common idioms, slang, and proverbs are also included.
  • The goals for this student are: 1) to become more fluent in listening and speaking skills, and 2) to use complete sentences, along with all verb tenses.
